Jackie Smits-Pillai, EA, is a federally licensed tax practitioner with unlimited rights to represent
taxpayers and business entities before the IRS in any tax matter nationwide and in cases involving audits and collection matters, has the privilege to uphold EA-client’s confidentiality.
In 2011, she co-founded the Smits & Wilson LLC, tax & financial services. With many years of experience, Jackie works extensively with a multitude of clients, from business to individuals, providing all tax services, including tax preparation, planning, compliance, trusts, estates, and representation. When representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service with audits, collections, and appeals, all avenues are explored to achieve a positive outcome or to reach the best possible settlement.
As regulated by the Department of Treasury, she takes continuing education courses each year to keep up with the complexity and always changing tax code. Regularly, she meets with the CSEA, where changes and other aspects of the tax code are discussed and analyzed.
Working closely with her strategic partners, she works with investors, accounting firms, corporate & LLC firms, and private entities with a broad range of tax and related services. With a full knowledge of all aspects of real estate transactions, sales, acquisitions, accounting, and taxation, Jackie often consults clients with the sale of homes and income properties.
